It is the first time that the government has provided an online service to assist workers in obtaining assistance from the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker). The service allows users to access the criteria for the Rp. 1 million BSU, which is to be distributed among workers in the form of monthly salary/wages subsidies. It is also the first time that the government has provided a system for monitoring and tracking the distribution of the assistance, which will be done via a dedicated website.
The purpose of the Rp. 1 million BSU is to help workers earn more so that they can invest in the capital market. To achieve this, the government will give out monthly salary/wages to workers, so that they can buy their own business or start their own business.
